November 2026

1 November: Your choice about website analytics

When Kivo uses website analytics, you can choose whether to allow analytics cookies the first time you open the app. Saying no does not limit any Kivo feature. See Data and privacy.

October 2026

22 October: Campaigns now send, and clearer plans

Campaigns now really go out on WhatsApp, SMS, email or Instagram, only to customers who agreed to marketing, and show how many were sent and not delivered. See How campaigns are sent.

Plans changed too. Sending campaigns, QuickBooks, Mono bank feed, WooCommerce, Jumia, Mailchimp, purchase orders and suppliers, and prices in other currencies are now on Growth, and product authentication is on Business. Locked buttons show the plan they need and open an upgrade window, and AI actions have a monthly allowance (Free 30, Growth 500, Business 2,000). Anything you already set up keeps working. See Billing.

22 October: Plans and billing in one place, and Beta labels on new integrations

A new Plans and billing page explains what each plan includes, the price in your currency, and how upgrades, renewals and cancelling work. In Integrations, connections we've only tested with sandbox accounts so far (Jumia, GIG, Sendbox, DHL, Mono, Airtel Money, M-Pesa and QuickBooks) now show a Beta label, so you know to check the first few orders. See Integrations.

22 October: Clearer payouts to your bank

"Settlement account" is now Payout bank account, and "settlements" are now payouts. Kivo never holds your money: your payment provider (like Paystack or Flutterwave) pays your online sales straight into your own bank account, and Kivo keeps track of each payout. See Payouts.

22 October: Address suggestions and map pins at checkout

Buyers get address suggestions as they type at checkout, can drop a map pin with Use my current location, and in Ghana can add their GhanaPost GPS address. Orders show the pin with an Open pin in Maps link for your rider. Locations in Settings get the same suggestions. See Delivery addresses.

22 October: Product SKUs can write themselves

Leave a new product's SKU blank and Kivo creates a unique one from its name. You can still type your own SKU whenever you prefer. See Products.

19 October: Get found on Google and AI assistants

Your store, products, collections and pages are now set up so they can show up on Google and Bing, and when people ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Claude where to buy something. Product pages tell search engines the price, stock, photos and reviews, and new or changed pages are sent to search engines automatically. Sales by source now counts buyers who arrive from Search engines and AI assistants. See Getting found on Google and AI assistants.

19 October: 23 business categories, and "Other" in your own words

Pick from 23 categories, from Hair & Wigs to Agriculture & Farm Produce. If you pick Other, tell Kivo What do you sell? and it uses your words on your store and in AI suggestions. See Getting started.

19 October: Simpler passwords

Passwords now need at least 8 characters. Capitals and symbols are suggested, not required. See Settings → Security.

15 October: Sell the whole sale inside the chat

  • Send products from Inbox as WhatsApp catalog items or as swipeable cards on Instagram and Messenger.
  • Interested in … Kivo spots which product a customer means from a catalog tap, an ad, a Story reply, a SKU or a reply to your latest Status, and offers Send product and Create order.
  • WhatsApp catalog carts become orders at your Kivo prices, with a Pay now button sent straight back.
  • Pay now and Track order buttons in WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
  • Automatic order updates in the same chat: payment received, on its way and delivered. See Orders.
  • Instagram and Facebook Stories from the share sheet. Replies arrive already matched to the product. See Social selling.
  • Order status page for buyers after they pay, with courier tracking.

15 October: Messages go out on the channel the sale came from

Payment links and order messages for an Instagram order go to the customer's Instagram DMs, and so on, and the order timeline shows where each message went and why it fell back to SMS or email. See How Kivo messages your customers.

15 October: Help docs

These help pages, with search, are now at kivohq.com/docs and linked from the app sidebar, your account menu and search.

14 October: Privacy, terms and data deletion pages

Public privacy policy, terms of service and data deletion pages, linked from the Kivo home page.

12 October: Connect the tools you already use

  • Payments: Paystack and Flutterwave checkout, and MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and M-Pesa prompts on the pay page. See Online store.
  • Bank and books: Mono matches bank transfers to unpaid orders, QuickBooks Online receives paid orders and expenses. See Money.
  • Marketplaces: WooCommerce and Jumia orders and stock sync with Kivo. See Integrations.
  • Couriers: compare quotes, book and track Sendbox, GIG Logistics and DHL Express deliveries from the order page. See Orders.

  • Social: post products to your Facebook Page and Instagram, share product cards to WhatsApp Status and Stories. See Social selling.
  • Reviews: buyers review your store and products from a secure link, and Google and Facebook reviews sync into Reputation. Mailchimp audiences stay in step with your customers.

  • Point of sale: barcode and camera scanning, held sales, shifts with cash counts, a payment sheet, receipts and an offline queue. See Sell / POS.
